A look at things to come for PG Games

It's no secret that we love all things weird fantasy western here at PG GAMES. We consume it as media whenever we get a chance, including reading the ever-wonderful comic series The 6th Gun (which is apparently being made into an RPG setting for Savage Worlds) and indie comic series Pariah, Missouri

The fact is, despite our love for it, there isn't a lot of media that exists for this particular genre. Which, truly, is unfortunate. A lot of media that use the placard of "weird west" do so with strictly horror or supernatural elements thrown in. Which is great! But, not what we mean when we talk about weird fantasy westerns. For us, the emphasis is on the fantasy.

We dream of high octane games (or comics, or short stories, or whatever) where two spell-slingers stare each other down in the middle of a boomtown at midnight, the witching hour. Or even dragon rustlers or shootists fending off attacks from prairie dragons or land-sharks. Or what about a gang of train robbers boarding a locomotive from the back of their pegasi? Listen, we're willing to get crazy and whimsical here. Didn't we mention we love the emphasis of fantasy?

The point is, we love fantasy westerns and want to see more of them in gaming. And in fact, we've been toying with just this off and on (more off than on) for about two years now. Now its time to put our spurs to the dragon-hide and make this thing happen. Until it does, however, here is a preview of things to come:
